It was epic! I like U2, I like their songs, but their stage show took it to another level. I had to rely on the giant circular screen to seeBono and Co, but the sheer size of the stage and enormity of the light show added to the whole sceptical. The show was utterly brilliant and I urge everyone to see it.
The stage, nicknamed the Claw, is a huge 4 pronged gazebo sprawling across the the middle of the stadium containing lights, pyrotechnics and giant moving circular screen. People have been discussing what 'the claw' reminds them off; some say a daddy long-legs, a claw vending machine, a spider crab - It oddly reminded me of a computer game.. Half Life 2 and an alien in it called a 'fast head crab'.
The stages (3 in total) reportedly cost £20 million and will be given away to be used as permanent concert facilities once the 360° Tour has ended.
